Football Recap: Watchung Hills Regional Takes a Loss

Watchung Hills Regional suffered their closest defeat since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Woodbridge Barrons by a score of 26-23. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Barrons from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Joshua Allen had an outrageously good game for Woodbridge as he rushed for 168 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries.

Watchung Hills Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Woodbridge, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Watchung Hills Regional and Woodbridge will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors are set to challenge their familiar foe North Hunterdon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodbridge will face off against rival Plainfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
