Basketball Recap: Siloam Springs Triumphs

Siloam Springs came into Friday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They slipped by the Alma Airedales 59-58 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Siloam Springs' victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-11. As for Alma, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Siloam Springs Panthers take on the Farmington Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alma, they will venture away from home to face off against Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alma is facing Russellville at the right time seeing as Russellville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
