There's no place like home for Amherst, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Manawa Wolves on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won seven in a row.

Noah Spoelstra and Ethan Peskie were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Spoelstra tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Peskie pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Spoelstra posted two strikeouts, the most he's had over his last five contests. At the plate, Spoelstra got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Peskie went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Spoelstra is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sully Perkins, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Logan Hintz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Amherst's record is now 18-10. As for Manawa, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
