Soccer Recap: Walkertown Takes a Loss

Walkertown lost against Rockingham County on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolfpack fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Walkertown have lost by just one goal.

Walkertown has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season. As for Rockingham County, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walkertown will welcome Carver at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carver will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Walkertown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rockingham County, they will host Morehead at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
