Baseball Game Preview: Collins Family Jaguars vs. Central City Value Jaguars

Collins Family will challenge Central City Value at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Collins Family fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Downtown Magnets last Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 23-14 to the Suns. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dhyan Patel was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Meanwhile, Central City Value narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Animo Bunche 10-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Central City Value now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Collins Family, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-6.

Everything went Collins Family's way against Central City Value in their previous meeting back in March, as Collins Family made off with a 17-1 victory. Will Collins Family repeat their success, or does Central City Value has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
