Baseball Preview: Waynoka Railroaders vs. Okeene Whippets

Meanwhile, Okeene made easy work of Cimarron in their third game on Thursday and carried off a 9-3 victory.

William Woolley was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kyle Lewis, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Waynoka's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs per game. As for Okeene, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15.
