Soccer Game Preview: Lowry vs. West Wendover

The Lowry Buckaroos are taking a road trip to take on the West Wendover Wolverines at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. West Wendover took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lowry, who comes in off a win.

Lowry played in-conference for the first time on Saturday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Fernley by a score of 3-1.

Lowry hit the Vaqueros with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josue Barajas, Jonathan Leon, and Johnny Zuniga.

Meanwhile, West Wendover came up short against Elko on Friday, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as West Wendover were already down 5-0.

West Wendover's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-8-2. As for Lowry, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-8-3.
