Softball Recap: Permian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Permian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Pecos Eagles 11-4 on Tuesday. Considering the Panthers have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Permian pushed their record up to 14-2-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs over those games. As for Pecos, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coming up, Permian will head out to challenge Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pecos, they will face off against Midland Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Midland Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
