Soccer Recap: Polytech Takes a Loss

Polytech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Cape Henlopen Vikings, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Polytech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while Cape Henlopen are ranked fourth).

Polytech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cape Henlopen, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polytech will square off against Woodbridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cape Henlopen, they will challenge Brandywine at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
