Baseball Recap: Cupertino Comes Up Short

The Cupertino Pioneers didn't have quite enough to beat the San Mateo Bearcats on Saturday and fell 6-5.

Cupertino's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-10-1. As for San Mateo, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

Coming up, Cupertino will venture away from home to challenge MacDonald at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers are facing the Condor at the right time seeing as the Condor are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for San Mateo, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Terra Nova at 4:00 p.m. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight.
