Basketball Recap: Vernonia Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Vernonia won the last time they faced Portland Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vernonia Loggers snuck past the Portland Christian Royals with a 37-31 win.

Vernonia has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Portland Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
