Volleyball Game Preview: Pickens Blue Flame vs. Wren Hurricanes

Pickens has won 15 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Wren has won 15 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m.

Pickens is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Daniel.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Wren was able to grind out a solid win over York on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Wren's victory bumped their record up to 29-6-1. As for Pickens, their win bumped their record up to 29-4.

Pickens came up short against Wren when the teams last played back in August of 2023, falling 2-0. Can the Blue Flame avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
