Soccer Recap: Willard Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Willard has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-1 to the Nixa Eagles on Tuesday. Willard were not able to make up for their loss to Nixa from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Willard's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Nixa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Willard will square off against Waynesville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nixa, they will take on Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Marquette's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
