Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Shore). They put the hurt on the Hazel Park Vikings with a sharp 18-2 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Shorians, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Lake Shore is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Hazel Park, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-12.

As of now, neither Lake Shore nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
