Wenonah had won three straight road games and Jaliya Johnson did her part to make it four on Monday. The Dragons took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-29 victory over the Fultondale Wildcats for which the team can thank Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 17 boards. She has become a key player for Wenonah: the team is undefeated when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 3-5 otherwise.

Wenonah's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Fultondale, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wenonah won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tarrant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fultondale, they will challenge Bessemer City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
