Adams made his presence known in Gordonsville's 13-0 victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Kyle Adams stepped things up a notch to give Gordonsville the 'W'. Adams turned in nothing short of a gem: he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (he also didn't allow any walks).
Adams' strong effort led Gordonsville over Pickett County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gordonsville is 9-0 against Pickett County going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
