Baseball Recap: Southwood Knights vs. Lewis Cass Kings

Southwood won the last time they faced Lewis Cass, and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Southwood Knights won by a run and slipped past the Lewis Cass Kings 4-3.

Jaron Craft was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Craft has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Craft was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
