Basketball Recap: Tripoli Takes a Loss

Tripoli won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 54-16 defeat at the hands of the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tripoli dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Nashua-Plainfield, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Tripoli will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wapsie Valley at 7:45 p.m. As for Nashua-Plainfield, they will challenge Riceville at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
