Basketball Recap: Louisburg Warriors vs. J.F. Webb Warriors
Louisburg fought the good fight in their overtime game against J.F. Webb on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 61-54 to the J.F. Webb Warriors. Louisburg was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced J.F. Webb earlier this season, when they won 67-55.

Louisburg's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Sheldon, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points gave Sheldon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Alexander, who put up eight points and five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Louisburg was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as J.F. Webb only posted seven assists.

Louisburg's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for J.F. Webb, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.
