Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeshore). Everything went their way against the Northlake Christian Wolverines on Friday as Lakeshore made off with a 17-1 win. The victory was nothing new for Lakeshore as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lakeshore pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Northlake Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9-1 record this season.

Lakeshore will have a chance to go back-to-back against Northlake Christian: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.
