Volleyball Recap: Troy Wins Going Away Against Brea Olinda

Troy won the last time they faced Brea Olinda and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Troy never let Brea Olinda on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-22.

Isaac Fuentes paced Troy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fuentes got some help from Jadon Wavita and his 29 assists. Finally, Fuentes was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Troy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-7. As for Brea Olinda, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Troy will head out on the road to take on Esperanza at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brea Olinda, they will welcome Sonora at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
