Volleyball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Goodman-Pembine faced off against Cambridge on Friday. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays.

Cambridge was led to victory by Cally Travis and Ava Williams. Travis had 17 assists and two aces, while Williams had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces Travis has posted since back in October of 2024.

Goodman-Pembine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cambridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Goodman-Pembine has already played their next match (against Rio), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cambridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Lake Mills on the 29th.
