Centerville won the last time they faced Wayne and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Elks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors. The win was some much needed relief for the Elks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-17.

Sean Chaudhuri paced Centerville's offense, picking up eight kills. Chaudhuri got some help from Michael Philip and his 22 assists. Trey Winters controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Centerville's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Wayne, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Centerville will challenge Northmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Middletown on the 30th.
