Volleyball Recap: Buena Vista Comes Up Short

Buena Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Christian School Cougars.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Cornerstone Christian School scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Cornerstone Christian School, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-12 record.

Looking ahead, Buena Vista will challenge Brownell Talbot at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cornerstone Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
