The dominant performance gave East a new career-high in points. Evangeline East was another key player, putting up four points and seven rebounds.

Sugar Creek Charter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Piedmont Community Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
