Baseball Recap: Oostburg Flying Dutchmen vs. Hilbert Wolves        
        
		
            
 After flying high against Sheboygan Area Lutheran  last Monday, Oostburg came back down to earth. The Oostburg Flying Dutchmen fell just short of the Hilbert Wolves by a score of  7-6 on Tuesday.
 Oostburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Levi Mills, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chase Townsend, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Oostburg  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hilbert only tossed four.
 On Hilbert's side,  Ayden Keuler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Keuler was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Max Schneider was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Logan Dohr, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all two of his plate appearances.
 Oostburg now  has a losing record at 1-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oostburg will take on Sheboygan Area Lutheran at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Oostburg will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive. Hilbert will take on Chilton at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
