On Wednesday, Garfield faced O'Dea in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Garfield Bulldogs were the clear victor by an 82-59 margin over the O'Dea Fighting Irish. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Garfield, bringing their record for this year to 16-5. As for O'Dea, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Garfield will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eastside Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on April 11th. O'Dea does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
