Basketball Recap: Fayetteville-Perry Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

Fayetteville-Perry had won six straight games and Christina Murphy did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Fayetteville-Perry Rockets took down the Peebles Indians 46-28 thanks in part to Murphy, who posted ten points in addition to eight steals and six assists. Those eight steals gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Ryley Kleemeyer, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. She has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times she's played.

Fayetteville-Perry pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Peebles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Fayetteville-Perry and Georgetown will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. Peebles and Wheelersburg will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
