Basketball Recap: Nottoway Takes a Loss

Nottoway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Prince Edward County Eagles 59-7. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Katherine Graverly, Mariana Eppes, and Promise Tracy posted two points each. Anna Lee held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.

Nottoway's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Prince Edward County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cumberland the next time they take the court. Nottoway will host Cumberland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Prince Edward County will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
