It's playoff time, and Marion had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Hondo Owls 3-0 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 matchups in a row.

Hondo's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Araceli Fernandez, who had 18 digs. Fernandez has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Lowe, who had 11 digs and nine assists.

Marion's victory bumped their record up to 31-8. As for Hondo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-15.

As of now, neither Marion nor the Owls have any future games scheduled.
