Basketball Game Preview: Evergreen Wolverines vs. Cleveland Eagles

For the second straight game, Evergreen will face off against Cleveland. The Wolverines will be home for the holidays to greet the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Evergreen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

On Saturday, Evergreen was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 62-56 to Cleveland.

Despite their defeat, Evergreen saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jabarie Lindsey, who shot 47% from the field on his way to 24 points and seven boards, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Mohamed Yusuf, who posted eight points and four steals.

Cleveland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Evergreen, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
