Basketball Game Preview: Roseau Rams vs. Bagley Flyers

Roseau and Bagley are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2014, but not for long. The Roseau Rams will challenge the Bagley Flyers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Monday, Roseau blew past International Falls, posting an 83-33 victory. That 50 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Meanwhile, Bagley humbled Lake of the Woods with a 90-32 victory. The Flyers have beaten the Bears the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bears has come to flipping the script.

Bagley's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Roseau, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.

Everything came up roses for Roseau against Bagley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured an 88-52 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roseau since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
