Softball Recap: Elliott County Takes a Loss

Elliott County lost against Floyd Central back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell 5-1 to the Jaguars.

Elliott County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly McDaniels, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Elliott County's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Floyd Central, they moved to 7-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elliott County will take on Magoffin County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Floyd Central, they will face off against Leslie County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
