Soccer Game Preview: Irvine vs. St. Margaret's

The Irvine Vaqueros will challenge the St. Margaret's Tartans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Irvine's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Irvine's offense. They fell 2-0 to University on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Vaqueros have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, St. Margaret's kept a clean sheet against Sage Hill on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lightning.

St. Margaret's now has a winning record of 5-4-5. As for Irvine, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-2.
