Flag Football Game Preview: Desert Ridge Jaguars vs. O'Connor Eagles + Official Tickets

The Desert Ridge Jaguars are taking a road trip to face off against the O'Connor Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Desert Ridge was handed a 48-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Tolleson 16-13. The Jaguars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, O'Connor owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-0 win over Xavier College Prep.

O'Connor is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Desert Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Desert Ridge was able to grind out a solid victory over O'Connor in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, winning 17-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
