Soccer Recap: Whitmer Takes a Loss

Whitmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Evergreen Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Whitmer of the 5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Whitmer's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Evergreen, their win bumped their record up to 5-8-1.

Whitmer didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Ross on the 6th. As for Evergreen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Maumee on the 7th.
