Softball Recap: Ravenna Comes Up Short

Ravenna suffered their closest loss since June 11, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Evart Wildcats by a score of 4-2. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ravenna's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Evart, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Coming up, Ravenna will square off against Holton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Bulldogs have won 14 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Red Devils won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Evart, they will take on Bullock Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
