Heritage and Wakefield are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Heritage Huskies will be playing at home against the Wakefield Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Heritage was able to grind out a solid victory over Rolesville, taking the game 60-51.

Meanwhile, Wakefield came up short against Knightdale on Tuesday and fell 76-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), the Wolverines still had to take the loss.

Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Wakefield, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Wakefield when the teams last played back in January, winning 59-52. Will Heritage repeat their success, or does Wakefield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
