Basketball Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Skates Past Calvary Baptist Christian Academy with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Urbana University, Maranatha Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the Calvary Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders to the tune of 71-18. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their five-point performance the contest before.

Leading Maranatha Christian Academy to victory were Ferris Schrock and Tuesday Hanley. Schrock posted 23 points, while Hanley scored 22 points. Those 22 points gave Hanley a new career-high. Caroline Perry was another key player, putting up ten points.

The win got Maranatha Christian Academy back to even at 1-1.
