Softball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Olympus Titans, falling 17-2. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 11-2 to the Titans when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Olympus, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

West will head out on the road to face off against Pleasant Grove at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pleasant Grove will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something West surely won't give up without a fight. As for Olympus, they will host East at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Olympus is on a 13-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), East a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
