Knightdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-10 to the Wake Forest Cougars. On the bright side, the ten- run performance marked the Knights' highest-scoring contest to date.

Knightdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Wake Forest, the win keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Meanwhile, Wake Forest is set to face off against their familiar foe Wakefield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Wolverines a seven-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
