Basketball Game Preview: Campbell-Savona Panthers vs. Hammondsport Lakers

The Campbell-Savona Panthers will head out to square off against the Hammondsport Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Campbell-Savona has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 23.

It was a proper cat-fight when Campbell-Savona took on Jasper-Troupsburg on Wednesday. Campbell-Savona took a blow against Jasper-Troupsburg, falling 67-31.

Meanwhile, Hammondsport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by Avoca Central 75-39.

Hammondsport's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Campbell-Savona, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Campbell-Savona lost to Hammondsport on the road by a decisive 64-47 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Campbell-Savona avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
