Pottsville waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Mena Bearcats to the tune of 51-23. Given the Apaches' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Bearcats are ranked 234th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pottsville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points per game. As for Mena, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Pottsville will host Ozark at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Mena, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-37 defeat against Waldron on the 17th.
