Volleyball Recap: Dinuba Emperors vs. Tulare Western Mustangs

Dinuba was the 2-1 winner over Tulare Western when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Emperors fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Emperors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Dinuba took Tulare Western into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-23, 25-16, 19-25, 15-11.

Loss or not, Dinuba got some senior leadership from Delilah Rangel and Emmarie Rico. Rangel had 25 kills and three aces, while Rico had 41 assists. Those 25 kills set a new season-high mark for Rangel. The team also got some help courtesy of Klaryssa Meija, who had 11 kills.
