Volleyball Recap: Dinuba Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Emmarie Rico and Delilah Rangel

Dinuba dropped to 15-14 on Monday, ending the team's three-match streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Tulare Western Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Emperors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Dinuba's loss came despite strong showings from Delilah Rangel and Emmarie Rico. Rangel had 25 kills and three aces, while Rico had 41 assists. Rangel is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last six games she's played. Klaryssa Meija was another key player, getting 11 kills.

As for Tulare Western, their record now sits at 13-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted against Dinuba since October 9, 2023.

Tulare Western can attribute much of their success to Maliah Mu?oz, who had 20 digs and one assist.
