Flag Football Game Preview: Southwest EC Eagles vs. Brawley Wildcats + Official Tickets

Southwest EC is 0-6 against Brawley since August of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Southwest EC lost to Central on the road by a 20-6 margin.

Meanwhile, Brawley got themselves on the board against Holtville on Wednesday, but Holtville never followed suit. They blew past the Vikings, posting a 45-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 26 points or more this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Brawley's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Deseray Thomas and Alexandria Marron, who racked up all seven sacks between them. Marron has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last three times she's played. Dangelie Torrez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Brawley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.6 points over those games. As for Southwest EC, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
