Baseball Recap: South Decatur Takes a Loss

South Decatur lost against Southwestern last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars lost 11-2 to the Spartans.

Corbin Johnson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

South Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southwestern, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Decatur will venture away from home to challenge Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwestern, they will head out to face off against Indiana School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
