Football Recap: Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders vs. Homer-Center Wildcats
Bishop Guilfoyle won the last time they faced Homer-Center and things went their way on Saturday too. The Marauders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 42-0. Considering the Marauders have won six games by more than 23 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Keegan Hewitt was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 114 yards and one TD on only 11 carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 114 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Justin Wheeler was another key player, throwing for 181 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bishop Guilfoyle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 283 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Homer-Center only rushed for 57.
