Basketball Game Preview: Indian Creek Eagles vs. St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings

The Indian Creek Eagles will venture away from home to take on the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Indian Creek came up short against John Carroll and fell 49-41.

St. John's Catholic Prep fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 47-37 victory over Gerstell Academy on Friday.

St. John's Catholic Prep's win came from a few key players Indian Creek will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Olivia Bolduc, who posted 17 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Samantha Shively was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.

St. John's Catholic Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season. As for Indian Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Indian Creek couldn't quite finish off St. John's Catholic Prep when the teams last played back in November of 2023 and fell 47-45. Can Indian Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
