Volleyball Recap: Cambri Knafel Key Part of Team Effort in Eagles Win

Elkhart Christian Academy lost to Goshen back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the RedHawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elkhart Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cambri Knafel, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Knafel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiara Trovatore, who had 12 assists and seven digs.

The victory got Elkhart Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Goshen, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Elkhart Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against South Bend Adams on the 25th. As for Goshen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Tippecanoe Valley on the 25th.
